Isaac is caught in a dream, a memory of a loop. A date with a girl named Ashley… whose last name he could not remember or was never told, and it wasn’t going very well, again. As near as he could tell this is all in his head, then again it feels very real. This would all be manageable on its own, save for the fact Isaac can’t do anything to change the outcome, or move his hands or head, or do much of anything that wasn’t already set out before him. Except to think.

Pain & Repetition is a trip inside the human psyche, of a man trapped within himself and his quest to find a way out. It’s about failure, toxic relationships and how they can set you on the deepest and most dangerous of journeys.
